Applications for Admission for the School Year 2026-2027

This notice has been approved by the school's Patron, Bishop Denis Nulty (4th September 2025) and outlines key information and dates with regard to the admissions process for the school year 2026-2027. It should be read in conjunction with the school's 'Admissions Policy' which can also be downloaded below.
N.B Please note that as per the 'Annual Admissions Notice', we cannot accept 'Applications for Admission' for the school year 2026-2027 prior to Monday, 6th October 2025. 'Applications for Admission' received prior to this date cannot be processed. The closing date for receipt of 'Applications for Admission' to Junior Infants and the Sonas Autism Class for 2026-2027 is Friday, 24th October 2025, as outlined in the 'Annual Admissions Notice.' For applications for admission for other classes apart from Junior Infants and the Sonas Class, please contact the school Principal, Mr. Barry Whelan at [email protected].
N.B Please note that there are no places available in the Sonas Special Class currently or for the school year 2026-2027. Applications for Admission can still be made using the relevant ‘Application for Admission Form for Special Class’ and should places become available they will be allocated in line with the provisions of our 'Admissions Policy'
N.B Parents Notify with the NCSE
Prior to applying for a place for your child in any special class, you must in the first instance complete the process outlined at the 'Parents Notify NCSE' button below.
Parents Notify is an online form to let the NCSE/SENO know that you are seeking a place for your child in a special school or special class. Once the form is submitted, the NCSE/SENO will review your information. If the report(s) provided meet the criteria, you will receive an eligibility letter. This letter is required when applying for a special class or indeed a special school. This process is outlined in Department of Education Circular 0039/2025. This eligibility letter needs to accompany all Applications for Admission to Special Classes.
