Our Parents' Association is very supportive of the work of the school. The Parents' Association is involved in/with
Our Parents' Association is affiliated to the National Parents Council www.npc.ie.
Our Parents' Association held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15th September 2025 . The elected officers for the school year 2025-2026 are as follows:
Chairperson: Mr. Tony Walsh;
Secretary: Mrs. Martha Guilfoyle;
Treasurer: Mrs. Catherine Kirwan
New members are always most welcome to join and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parents' Association is held
shortly after the return to school each September.
- Planning and organisation of whole school events and activities, the aim of which is to enhance the pupils' experience of school life;
- Fundraising initiatives;
- Consultation regarding policy formulation and development with respect to certain administrative and organisational policies i.e Code of Behaviour, Acceptable Use Policy for ICT, Homework Policy, Healthy Eating Policy etc;
- Focus groups i.e for the 'Gathering Evidence' stage of the School Self-Evaluation (SSE) process;
